Apple has announced that it will add a new karaoke function " Apple Music Sing " to the Apple Music app. Available later this year on compatible iPhones, iPads, and Apple TV 4K.
Until now, the Apple Music app has provided a lyrics screen that is displayed in sync with the progression of the lyrics, but in "Apple Music Sing", the characters are animated to dance to the rhythm of the song, and even more. It also features vocal volume control and multiple lyrics display layouts optimized for background vocals and duet songs.

In terms of music, we plan to provide “more than 50 dedicated companion playlists of classic songs, duets, choruses and anthems” that people around the world will want to sing along to. I don't know if there are any Asian songs among them, but it is said that it will be a collection of songs that are popular all over the world. It should be optimized and recorded. From time to time, I feel that playlists of Christmas songs such as Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and Wham!'s "Last Christmas" are prepared.
Spotify offered a sing-along feature back in June, but it was a simple karaoke feature that just turned down the vocal volume. On the other hand, Apple Music Sing seems to be a mode that assumes that everyone can sing happily at a party. In that case, Apple TV, which can display lyrics on a larger TV screen than an iPhone or iPad, may play an active role.
